BD-BLACKBOX-AUTOMATIC-PAGED-LAYOUT-001 — Paged.js Proof Gate

Renders a semantic publication through Paged.js (npm package, no CDN). Verifies automatic paged layout: margins, 2-column flow, column progression, chapter openers, column-width and wide-spanning figures, caption adjacency, text resumption, multi-page output, no clipping, no empty pages with overflow, and no tiny default images. Production Preview ↔ Print parity is verified in the live publication editor, where PRINT / SAVE PDF prints the exact rendered Paged.js frame; this standalone gate does not manufacture that result.
